Reformer Pilates is a low impact, spring-based exercise system created by Joseph Pilates. The reformer is a machine with a bed-like frame that utilizes spring tension and a carriage on smooth rollers that can be used for a full body workout. You can absolutely still do reformer Pilates. In fact, Pilates was originally created by Joseph Pilates to help wounded World War I veterans. Private sessions are designed to accommodate the specific needs of a client, including special populations. These clients might include people with osteoporosis, scoliosis, hip and knee replacements, herniated discs, back injuries, and many more. We suggest taking a 30 minute private session review any necessary modifications and get you started safely.
